The Wounded Healer

There are wounds in our lives that seem to take a long time to heal. For some it is a lifetime. God is gracious, gentle and patient because He is the wounded healer. He knows what it feels like. Sometimes the pain is so great that we hide from the healing and all kinds of toxic stuff spills out. How can I keep my heat open to God's healing and allow Him to help me become a wounded servant to others?
