Missions

Living the gospel to neighbours and nations

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem,
and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
Acts 1:8

Albright Church recognizes the importance of local, national and cross-border mission efforts.  Whether they are humanitarian or evangelistic in nature, we commit to come alongside those in need, to love others, and offer help wherever possible.  It is our desire that the love of God that fills us will be seen by others, and be attractive to them.

Our commitment to investing in lives could involve work groups at Winnipeg Harvest, supporting the work of local ministries such as Siloam Mission or Crisis Pregnancy Centre, Union Gospel Mission, Teen Challenge, filling a mountain of shoe-boxes for Operation Christmas Child, providing funds to build homes in Haiti, or sending out mission teams to serve.

Missions at Home

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
John 13: 34-35
