Sexual Wholeness
Core Truth: God’s desire is that we enjoy a happy and holy sexuality within our God given gender and within the sacredness of marriage. We have taken His gift and used it to try to get our own satisfaction. The journey from brokenness to wholeness involves re-surrendering the gift and re-discovering how our sexuality reflects who He is.
Sometimes we can be overwhelmed with the struggles of life and the unanswered questions. We need to be reminded that God is at work in our lives to bring about eternal wholeness and that our struggles and questions do not diminish His faithfulness and power to make that happen.
Core Truth: One of the most noticeable effects our brokenness is the impact on our relationships. Many marriages and families do not have healthy relationships. How can we break the cycles of dysfunction and move towards relational wholeness?
Core Truth: God has emotions and He made us with emotions also. In the journey from brokenness to wholeness, we learn to process our emotions in healthy ways. Learn how we can we do that without damaging ourselves or others and bring glory to God.
Core Truth: At a core level all of the humanity is broken and needs the restorative power of God to lead us into wholeness. Every area of our lives is affected and every area of our lives can be redeemed by God’s grace. The journey from brokenness to wholeness is a spiritual one that produces inner change.
Core Truth: A significant area of our lives that is broken and needs major restoration is that of our self-image and identity. The lies of the evil one, the wounds of others and the wrong attachments all serve to rob us of our unique identity in God.
