Jesus said, "Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them." (Matt 18:20)
We believe small groups of people sharing Christ and life together is how God designed us to live in community. We can see an example of this by looking at Jesus Christ's own life with his disciples. They ate together, laughed together, and wept together. They simply did life together.
Albright Church wants to provide a place where you can experience this kind of love while growing spiritually and developing meaningful relationships and a place where you can share ideas and concerns and know you are safe, accepted, and respected. It is our prayer that everyone who calls Albright Church their home will join a Small Group and find the benefits of living life in community as God designed it for us.

Here at Albright Church we have many Small Groups, each with its own unique flavour, meeting at various times and places throughout the week. Specific focuses include Topical Study Groups, Service, Seniors, Family Life, Bible Study, Marriage, and Faith Sharing. Come and check us out and get connected. Our Small Groups for 2009 / 2010
DJs
Day & Time: every 2nd Friday evening @ 7:30pm
Our small group is open to anyone and children are welcome. We have a discussion time followed by a time of sharing and prayer. Refreshments are served afterwards.
Northern Light
Day & Time: Sunday evenings @ 6:30pm
We enjoy studying God's Word together. Once a month we volunteer at Union Gospel Mission.
Proclaimers
Day & Time: Thursday Bi-weekly
We take our name from our desire to proclaim Jesus Christ to those around us in our daily lives and to “always be prepared to give an answer to those who ask about the hope within us”. (1Peter 3:15). The diversity of ages (20’s to 60’s), backgrounds and life experiences often results in lively discussions and exchanges.
Love in Action
Day & Time: every 2nd Sunday 11:30am-2:00pm
We enjoy studying God's Word together. In addition, we will continue to put service into action during the second half of the year. Our services have been streamlined towards Teen Challenge and Siloam Mission.
Pineridge Small Group
Day & Time: Fridays, 7:00-10:00pm
Our evening consists of discussion, prayer time, and fellowship. We are currently studying the Book of Romans.
Foundations Group
Day & Time: Sundays @ 6:30pm
Believers become established in the core truths and practices of Christianity through study and discussion.
Runtz's
Day & Time: Tuesdays @ 6:30pm
Come and join us as we walk through the Word together. All welcome.
Jesus on Leadership: Developing Servant Leaders
Day & Time: Saturdays, 9:00-11:00am
Our focus is developing leaders within our congregation. Jesus, the ultimate servant leader, is our example and guide. |
J.O.Y. Group (Just Older Youth)
Day & Time: Wednesdays @ 1:30pm
We meet for fellowship, Bible Study, encouragement, Christian growth and prayer. The 55 Plus Group is a larger circle of seniors who meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month. Activities include guest speakers, games night and celebrations for occasions such as Christmas.

The Truth Project (3 Groups)
Day & Time: Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays @ 7:00pm
Do you really believe that what you believe is really real? Focus on the Family's The Truth Project® is a DVD-based small group study that practically and personally introduces viewers to the truth claims of God.
Spoken For
Day & Time: Fridays @ 7:00pm
We get together to share our victories and struggles through prayer, and to teach and encourage each other through what God has taught us in our daily Bible readings. We will be discussing our readings as we move through the Bible as a group.
Young Marrieds
Day & Time: Mondays @ 6:30pm
We are couples with a desire to build a strong foundation for our marriages based on God’s Word. Each evening consists of a time of study, prayer and fellowship.
