Missions

Albright Church recognizes the importance of cross-border mission efforts, whether humanitarian or evangelistic in nature. We commit to come alongside of the needy, love others and help in any way possible, so that the love of God that fills us will be seen by others and be attractive to them.

This commitment might involve work groups, direct financial contribution to a project anywhere in the world, or just volunteering in downtown Winnipeg.

Why do missions?

It is a matter of obedience: obedience to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20). It is a matter of following the example of Christ, who unashamedly proclaimed the Kingdom of Heaven to all. It is also a privilege: the privilege of living the adventure of a life with a purpose.

Our ultimate goal is to see the Gospel of Jesus Christ proclaimed to every tribe and nation.

Albright Church will pursue this goal by supporting long-term missionaries, supporting various projects, and sending out short-term teams.
