Albright's Life Resources Ministry offers support and resources to people in the church and community to help them navigate many difficult life issues.
When facing life's concerns, worries or problems all of us face decisions about how to handle what has come our way. There are times when some outward changes can make a difference. But more often, problems or situations in our lives cannot be solved by trying harder. Nor can they be made to disappear by ignoring them, quickly forgiving, angry confrontation, or even by being more religious.
Through Albright's Life Resources Ministry, access is available to a listening ear and prayerful support. We can also refer you to independent professional counsellors and in some cases subsidies may be available.
Life Support Groups and Classes are also provided in response to congregation and community need in such areas as: Grief Recovery, Separation & Divorce Recovery, Love & Respect (Marriage Enrichment), Boundaries (Personal Growth), Addictions and Stress Management.
Whether through listening and prayerful support, counselling referral, or a group environment the approach taken involves caring for each person in a way that addresses their emotional, spiritual, mental and physical concerns.
Ultimately we believe that having God at the centre of your life brings rest, purpose and direction in an otherwise chaotic world. Whatever you are going through, connecting with God as the source of life and connecting with others for support makes a world of difference.

GriefShare Support Group - This group meets every Monday from 6:30-8:30pm at Albright Church, with April 9th being the last session. GriefShare is an informational support group for anyone experiencing loss and will cover such topics as 'Living with Grief', 'The Effects of Grief', 'Your Family & Grief', 'Why Grieve?' and 'The Uniqueness of Grief' ... just to name a few. Cost for workbook is $15.00.
DivorceCare Support Group - This group meets every Tuesday from 6:30-8:30pm at Albright Church, with April 10th being the last session. DivorceCare is an informational support group for anyone experiencing a breakdown in their marriage, and will cover such topics as 'What is Happening to me?', 'Facing the Effects of Anger, Loneliness, Depression, Forgiveness' ... just to name a few. Cost for workbook is $15.00.
