Counselling Ministry

Leadership: Mary-Ann Roy
E-mail: counselling@albrightchurch.com

Albright's counselling ministry offers support and resources to people in the church and community, based on practical biblical counsel under the leadership of a trained and qualified professional.

When facing life's concerns, worries or problems all of us face decisions about how to navigate what has come our way. There are times when some outward changes can make a difference. But more often, problems or situations in our lives cannot be solved by trying harder. Nor can they be made to disappear by ignoring them, quickly forgiving, angry confrontation, or even by being more religious.

Through Albright's counselling ministry, access is available to one-on-one counselling, couple's counselling, and family counseling. Fees are determined on a sliding scale and in some cases subsidies are available.

Support Groups are also provided in response to congregation and community need in such areas as: Grief Recovery, Separation & Divorce Recovery, Love & Respect (Marriage Enrichment), Boundaries (Personal Growth) and Laughing Matters (Stress Management).

Whether the counselling support is provided in a one-on-one session or small group environment the approach taken involves caring for each person in a way that addresses their emotional, spiritual, mental and physical concerns.
