Discovery. It's what children thrive on. Discovering new friends, new abilities and fun! Childhood should also be about discovering God and His Word in an age-appropriate and exciting way.
Albright's Children's Ministries' logo is a handprint because kids are "hands-on learners"! Our child-targeted, creative programs are staffed by youth and adults "lending a hand" to help kids connect with God. Hands hold a baby, comfort a toddler, guide a preschooler, help, and 'high-five' school-aged kids. As children learn that God created them for His purpose and come to accept His love for them personally, they embark on an adventure of a lifetime as they place their hands in His!
Albright Church strives (through resources, community, and programs) to partner with parents who desire to see their children experience God's love and grow in their own relationship with God throughout their childhood. The Children's Ministry team wants to assist parents in the God-given responsibility and privilege of raising children to follow Jesus by serving in their areas of giftedness. A child-targeted worship service provides the opportunity for children to worship God and learn about Him at their level while developing the community relationships necessary for support and encouragement. Summer and other school break programs provide extended opportunity for community building and learning and are great times to invite a friend!
Kids' Konnection is church for kids in grades 1-6. Kids build relationships while playing and talking together, worship God together through music and actions, learn relevant biblical truths in a large group setting and enjoy an age-specific small group interactive time facilitated by adult and youth small group leaders.
Preschool Praisers is a special class time designed specifically for children ages 3 to Kindergarten. Their program includes singing, playing, a Bible lesson, games, crafts and a snack.
The Nursery is staffed during every regular service with adults and youth who serve families by caring for children up to 3 years of age. Lots of toys, activities, and love make this room an inviting place for the littlest ones who come to Albright.
SUMMER 2010 KIDS' PROGRAMS
DROP-IN DAYS:
During the month of August, our summer activity workers will offer "Drop-In Days" for kids ages 4 to Grade 6. Activities will include: games, songs, movies, crafts, Bible stories and snacks. Come, bring a friend (or two) and have a blast!! Dates as follows:
> Tuesday, August 10th - 6:30-8:30pm
> Tuesday, August 24th - 6:30-8:30pm

AUGUST DAY CAMP:
August 16-20 - This week is a great way to end off the summer! This camp will be a crazy combination of Sports Camp / Music Camp / Drama Camp and Day Camp! There will be Bible stories, crafts, skits, songs, games, snacks, friends and fun! We won't be going anywhere in a bus but this camp provides a virtual 'road trip' that will be a real adventure! (Please bring a nut-free bagged lunch each day.) For ages: Grades 1-7 in Sept/2010. Runs from 9:00am - 4:00pm. Cost is $50.00/child.
